Tata Group (/ˈtɑːtɑː/) is an Indian multinational conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai. Founded in 1868 by Jamshedji Tata, the group gained international recognition after purchasing several global companies.
It is one of the biggest and oldest industrial groups in India.
